Yeah I debated for a long time to start on Classic since I am somewhat allergic to play on 'Normal' diff in games. But Long War is not a normal game and I am satisfied with my choice so far. I also saw in the options menu that one can change diff level in an ongoing campaign. I am new to XCom's Long War, and I am surprised in reading through the top post here not to see a discourse on the 'best' starting country. There are so many options.
